Wanderhome

Everyone, I have the most stupendous news. I just tried a new TTRPG (table-top role-playing game) called Wanderhome. In it, you improvise and narrate the journey of a small group of animals (anthropomorphic) through a magic and mystical land. I am playing with three friends, and we’ve each got a character.

I’m playing a Ferret Pilgrim. A god spoke to my character in the language of the divine—a language of my people’s history—and commanded them to travel to a port. At this port there is a garden and within the garden is a monastery. Living in the monastery is a teacher who knows the secret to pure serenity. You see, my priestly pilgrim is entirely impatient and incapable of being unobtrusive. They are desperately seeking true serenity.

With Dae (my character’s name, they’ll never tell what they were born named) travels three compatriots. Bartholemew the raccoon firelight (a guide on a journey), Ursa the rabbit Moth-tender (moths carry mail!), and Lenticular (aka Tic) the crow Dancer (whose joy brings us all hope).

I hope you all take a glance at Wanderhome and maybe give it a try!
