About the Author

Rowan L. Hendershot has always loved to write.  A lifetime aficionado of fantasy and mythology, they have crafted entire worlds in their spare time.   Ancient Sands is their debut novel, and they are currently working on I Dream of Poppets, a story about a dystopian future where humanity is dependent on magical dolls.

In their spare time, Rowan has been a zookeeper and a wildlife rehabilitator.  They and their spouse share a cozy home with their three cats and their Czechoslovakian Vlciak, Comrade.
