Habit Building!

I find it amusing that I am terrible at writing blog posts. I see professional-looking blogs with lengthy, interesting and well-written stories that catch my attention. These posts remind me that my Blogging habits aren’t the most fastidious.

So here’s the start of a journey. Every week, I’ll post something. Hopefully, it’s something everyone’s interested in reading. It might be about my life or my work.

This week I’m learning more about being organized. I picked up Todoist (goodness I hope that’s a good choice) and admittedly, I think I like playing with the Integrations more than anything else. I also found a website (here) that lets you design a planner—a life planner—completely to your specifications. It’s pretty impressive. We need to get that book sold so I can get one!

Speaking of getting Ancient Sands published! A kickstarter is in the works. I promise to let you all be the first to know when it is live! I estimate a launch-date of April 1. Yes, I want to launch on April Fool’s Day, and no it’s not an April Fool’s joke.

On a more somber note: I’d like to mention a friend of mine. CelticBlue (not her real name) is someone who has been incredibly supportive on this journey. She has a very active (normally) TikTok and aside from being a published author herself, she’s a fantastic helper! Blue’s life is filled with helping others—including me!

This upcoming Saturday (I’ll put it in the calendar), a gathering of folks on TikTok will be auctioning book boxes and accepting donations to help her out with hospital costs. I plan to be there…will you?
