#writingdistraction

For those who weren’t aware, a new member of the family joined the Grove exactly two weeks ago. Comrade Dag, formally known as Dagobah Direwolf, flew in from Florida to join us. It’s been about sixteen ye—let’s not go into how old I am right now—it’s been a long time since I had to care for a puppy. Thankfully, Mr. Rowan has gone above and beyond the call of duty for a puppy that I wanted!

Please forgive any brainlessness for the next few weeks while we get our little boy used to sleeping by himself. I don’t get as much time to write as I’d like, because Comrade is a bit of a panicky pup about being left alone. And of course, he’s in the piranha stage of puppyhood, where everything (and everyone) is a chew toy, so he can’t be unsupervised loose just yet!

Wish us luck and much continued sanity!

Speaking of, that’s as much time as I have for the moment; someone has to pee.
