Kickstarter Progress

I know I’ve been a bit on the quiet side lately, and I appreciate you all understanding. I have chronic pain issues that flared up recently, and as I’m recovering from a painful week, I’d like to promote my kickstarter a little bit more.

Thanks to 26 wonderful and supportive folks, so far we’ve made it to 28% backed! That’s so incredible! The Pharaoh tier (the highest tier of the kickstarter) has completely sold out. However, for those of you who were hoping for those really nifty Anubis Coins (I’ve nicknamed them my challenge coins), there’s still about 35 slots left on the Scribe’s Tier—the next in line.

Whether or not the kickstarter gets backed, I intend to publish Ancient Sands. Even if this doesn’t help speed the process along, the book is coming out!

The next step includes hiring a professional editor (or two) and having them tear apart the first—no, second… third? Um. This current draft! I honestly cannot recall how many times I’ve been over it already. It needs a fresh set of eyes.

After it’s edited, formatted and ready to go, we’ll be taking applications for ARC readers!
